12 x Framed Signed Australian Cricket Shirts from the Australia v Pakistan ODI at Adelaide Oval - Australia Day, 26/1/2017
Background Barry "Nugget" Rees is a legend of Australian cricket. Since as far back as 1962 and through the generations since, Nugget has been a constant with the Australian cricket side, whenever they are in Adelaide.
Nugget is loved by Australian cricketers and during Test, ODI and T20 games in Adelaide, Nugget is there with the Australian side in every aspect. He is in the change rooms prior inspiring the players, in the viewing area during play, out on the pitch before the game and in the rooms celebrating after a days play.
In 2003, Nugget "retired" from Rowe and Jarman Sports Stores and the Barry Nugget Rees Trust was established to support Nugget in his daily life.
To support Nugget and in honour of the recent naming of the Barry Nugget Rees Viewing Area at Adelaide Oval, the Australian cricket ODI team have donated their playing tops from the recent ODI game versus Pakistan at Adelaide Oval on Australia Day, January 26th.
These are authentic playing tops, worn by the players, personally signed and come with a certificate of authenticity. Congratulations if you are the highest bidder. Bidding will close on Tuesday 21st February from 10.00pm and successful bidders will be notified immediately for payment and collection of their item.
Notes Payment & collection available on the night only for guests who are attending the dinner. All other successful bidders can pay and collect from our auction rooms at 370 Torrens Road, Kilkenny SA from Wednesday 22nd February 9am.
For bidders unable to collect we can provide quotes for packing and postage which will be added to your invoice. All payments are to be finalised within 48 hours.
About MGS Online Only Auctions MGS online only auctions are unique. Instead of every lot closing at the same time, the online only auction runs the exact same way as a traditional live auction webcast.
Thus giving the buyer the opportunity to watch or bid on every lot as they are finalised. The only difference is there is no auctioneer or live crowd bidding.
From the advertised auction time every lot is then finalised one by one in numerical order at approx 120 lots per hour. At a similar speed of a traditional live auction.
